Pauline studied an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London, during which she specialised in Environmental Economics and Policy and built a business case for sustainable insect food products. She led the Fresh Ordering programme in Supply Chain Transformation at Tesco PLC to reduce food waste and CO2 emissions whilst unlocking multi-million pound benefits. Pauline now leads the responsible sourcing strategy for commodities (coffee, sugar, rice, cotton, etc.) and manages the responsible sourcing plan for the grocery category as well as specific supplier partners. Outside of her day job, she represents the environmental agenda in the supply chain community group. She organised volunteering sessions with Fareshare to distribute Tesco-donated food to communities in need.

Pauline’s top tip for getting hired:¬†Do not be afraid of talking to people about what they do.
