Alex has worked in HR, Communications and Engagement with significant retail experience spanning more than 15 years. Since joining The Body Shop and L’Oréal Group nearly four years ago, Alex has focused on building The Body Shop’s internal brand and culture, through engaging two-way interventions using the latest in digital and multimedia platforms. Alex is customer focused with the ability to balance the business commercial objectives with changes in the FMCG and beauty market/sector.

Recently, Alex’s team have developed an integrated employee-volunteering programme, whilst engaging people in over 100 countries globally with The Body Shop’s Commitment to Enrich Not Exploit.

Now responsible for The Body Shop’s Culture, Engagement & Communications Strategy, Alex is determined, creative and passionate about employee engagement, customer centricity and transparent business communications.

Alex’s top tip for getting hired: Be yourself, focus on what matters and why you’re unique and don’t be afraid to challenge the status-quo.
